Pan Braised Steak & Onions

Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Servings: 4

4 boneless New York Strip Steak or porterhouse Steak (10-12oz)
Salt to taste
1 small lime juice
½ teaspoon of oregano
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 Maggi chicken bouillon diluted in ½ cup of hot water
1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

Onion & Parsley Topping
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup of parsley, finely chopped
3 tablespoon of olive oil


Remove fat from meat and rinse

Season with garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, lime juice,  for at least ½ hour

In a skillet, heat oil and cook each side to your liking (well done, medium well, etc.). Deglaze with diluted chicken bouillon to enhance flavors

Finely chop onions and parsley using a food processor. Then add oilve oil and mix them well

Serve steaks with onions & parsley on top. Serve with rice & Beans, baked potatoes, tostones yucca fries  or salad
