Bread Pudding

Cooking Time: 40 minutes

5 cups cuban bread, cut into cubes and lightly toasted in the oven
1 cup of milk
1 tsp of all natural vanilla
1 tsp of cinnamon powder
1/2 cup of sweet condensed milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon of rum (optional)
1 cup of raisins, dry cranberries or any dry fruit of your choice
¼ cup of butter, room temperature


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease 1 loaf pan baking dish or 5 ramekins with butter and set aside

In a mixing bowl, add the bread and milk. Let it soak well. Add the condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, and butter. Add the raisins and mix well, until it's smooth

Pour in a baking dish and bake for about 40 minutes

Let it cool and garnish with chocolate syrup. Serve with tea, coffee or your favorite drink
