Pork in a Brown Garbanzo Beans Sauce
Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Servings: 4-6
Cooking Time: 1 hr (slow cooking)

3 1/2 lbs of pork chunks
1 tablespoon of Recaito
2 tablespoon of oil
2 chicken bouillons
1 can of garbanzo beans
1 freshly squeezed limejuice
1/2 cup of Shiraz white wine
Cayenne red pepper powder (optional)


In a deep and medium size pot, heat oil and brown the meat. Then, deglaze with the remainder of the marinade. Cover and continue browning, on medium heat

Deglaze again using 1 cup of water. Then cover for 2 minutes

Add the chicken bouillons, 5 cups of water, garbanzo beans, wine and salt.

Cook on low heat. Cover and simmer until reduction occurs and meat is tender (about 30-45 minutes)

Serve with white rice or your favorite side dish
