Pan Braised Bananas

Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Servings: 4-8
Cooking Time: 40-1hr

4 bananas
1/4 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla
1/4 teaspoon of all natural ground clove
1/4 teaspoon of all natural ground cinnamon
3 cups of water
1 cup of white wine

FOR GARNISH ONLY
4 sticks of cinnamon 
Vanilla ice cream
Oreo cookies
Chocolate syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

Peel the bananas. Be careful not to break them. Slice them in half lengthwise, then in half... Crosswise.

Place them in a a large pan. Make sure they are not on top of each other. Pour wine and sprinkle sugar, clove, cinnamon and vanilla.

Cook on low to medium heat until liquid has caramelized and the bananas have reached a nice golden color (40-1hr). Do not stir or move with a spoon or fork as it might fall apart.

Carefully transfer bananas to a serving dish and pour syrup on top

Garnish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.

Place Oreo cookie on top of the ice cream and squeeze chocolate syrup around the plate.

Place cinnamon sticks around the ice cream
