Pound Cake

Prep Time: 15-20 minutes
Servings: 5-10
Cooking Time: 1hr-1¼ hr

2 sticks of unsalted butter, soften
3 cups of sifted cake flour
¾ teaspoon of salt
3 cups of sugar
7 large eggs (room temperature)
2 teaspoon of all natural vanilla
1 cup of heavy cream
1 10” bundt pan

TIP: Do not preheat oven


Sift flour and salt into bowl

In a mixer or with a hand mixer, beat butter and sugar at medium high until pale and fluffy (about 5 min)

Add eggs, one at a time, beat well before adding the next

Reduce speed and add ½ of the flour mixture, all the cream, then the rest of the flour mixture. Make sure mixture is scraped from the sides of the mixer .

Continue mixing at medium speed for 5 minutes

Spoon mixture into bundt and place in the oven @350 degrees

Bake until golden 1-1¼ hrs

Cool cake for 5 minutes. Remove from bundt using a knife around the inner edges of the bundt.

Serve with whip cream, coffee, fruits or tea
