Pan Braised Salmon with Wine Caper Sauce

Cooking Time: 5-10 minutes

4 filets of fresh salmon
5 garlic cloves, finely minced
1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoon of shallots, finely chopped
1/3 cup of Shiraz wine
1/4 cube of Maggi chicken bouillon
4 tablespoon of olive oil
1/4 cup of water
2 tablespoon of capers
1 tablespoon of finely chopped parsley


Season filets with garlic and pepper

In a large skillet, heat oil and cook salmon for about 3 minutes on each side. Transfer salmon to a platter. Tent with foil to keep warm

Add water, shallot, bouillon, wine, parsley and capers. Cook for about 3-5 minutes

Serve salmon with sauce on top with your favorite side dish (e.g., Penne pasta, mixed green salad, mashed potatoes, mashed yucca).
